I made myself a smoothie and it worked fine. I went to make a 2nd and it would not work. The manual says it has a kill switch to prevent over-heating and can only run for 1 minute; I would have to unplug and wait a few hours. Going to return.Maybe to be safe

I’ve learned that mini-blenders don’t have the power to blend iced drinks, smoothies with large pieces of fruit, and have motors that are close to the ability of larger blenders. If you don’t use ice or frozen fruit, you can use this machine.
