The blender has lots of buttons for pulse, blend, chop, etc. I made a fruit smoothie with frozen fruit and apple juice and it turned out delicious. The cup is easy to measure and clean. The only thing that could be improved is the length of the cord.

This went after the ice. I don’t want to use more than one machine. After seeing how quickly that ice was chopped, I began to think about what I had thought about before. Hmm. There are ice cream variations and other cold things that are special. This has the fire power, and that’s what it’s about. There are other layers of function, but the main thing is there. I’m happy I got it and look forward to many more uses. Good start to the summer.

I have only used this blender twice, it has a plastic pitcher and I don’t see much deference in the speeds, I don’t know about the longevity of the blender, just make sure you use enough liquid, you can’t make a smoothie. I can’t compare it to my old blender, it’s over a hundred dollar’s and it only has 3 stars, but I looked and it’s only over a hundred dollar’s. The Mainstay is worth the price.

It’s great for chopping items a little bit at a time, with six speeds and a pulse function. Thestainless steel blades are very sharp. The blades are part of the pitcher, so there is no risk of leaking, and you don’t have to wash them. It is easy to hand wash the pitcheris top rack dishwasher. The pitcher is made of plastic and holds 48 ounces. It’s enough for all three of our little ones if I make one batches ofmilkshakes or smoothies. A small cup that can measure 1 ounce of liquid can be added to the pitcher without removing the lid. The Mainstays 6 Speed Blender is quiet andversatile. We like it a lot.

The old adage about getting what you pay for is true for this blender. The ribbed plastic inside of the jar makes it difficult to pour out the contents and clean it. It leaks from where the jar sits in the base and I feel like I’m going to be cut. The base is filled with liquid. There is a lot of stuff on my counter. I broke a nail trying to open the lid. Pulling on the top is not enough to get it off. Again… Trying to be fair. If you can’t afford a blender, then at least you have one.
