I changed over to instant coffee recently, so I started looking for an alternative way to boil water that did not involve my stove. Since I do almost all my shopping on-line at Wal-Mart, I checked out what choices they had. I found several available, but this one caught my eye.
When my order arrived I immediately put it to use, and it has surpassed all my expectations.

Blue LED light inside of kettle illuminates water when turned on so you can actually see water heating to boiling. When finished, the light goes out – this is my favorite thing about this product, as well as everyone else that has seen it.
I am perfectly satisfied with my purchase, and I would highly recommend this electric tea kettle.

Although I was influenced to buy this kettle primarily by its appearance and price, it has proven to be well designed, efficient and reliable. I can’t find my online purchase record so I have to guess that I’ve owned it for two maybe three years now. It’s been called on to boil water for me at least once a day. With its unique sensor, I get a full roiling boil no matter how much I boil. A little heavier than others, it handles well. It has decent balance and the handle stays cool and is comfortable. It doesn’t leak water out the lid when pouring. Neither does it leak steam out to burn my hand. It has good capacity (2 ltr) but I usually boil .5 to 1 ltr at a time.
