who would not like to have a nice hot pot of coffee ready and waiting for you when you get out of bed every morning? and being able to control it with my iphone was another plus! i could not wait to get it out of the box!
set up for the smartphone with the WeMo coffee maker is very simple and easy. just download the WeMo app and you are on your way. there is also a Brew button on the coffee maker for you to press manually to brew without a smartphone. all you have to do is set it up by plugging it in, joining its Wi-Fi network then load the WeMo app for a brief configuration process — you can name it, change its icon, and provide an email address to “receive important updates and information” about the unit and WeMo. within minutes it’ll be on your home Wi-Fi network and ready to start making coffee. and it is compatible with both Apple and Android!
you can schedule your coffee brewing for everyday of the week or have it set and ready and brew whenever you need it. it is easy to schedule, monitor, and modify from anywhere. and the decanter keeps the coffee hot and tasting fresh for hours.
i also like that it can make just the right amount for me. with some of the coffee makers that aren’t single serve they require 3-4 or more cups of coffee which ends up being wasted.
the app also has information that’s helpful and shows you the last time coffee was brewed or if the water level is low for example.

Growing up on the farm we had a Mr. Coffee on the counter when they first came out. Now, it a whole new ballgame with this new 10 cup ‘Smart’ coffee maker.Lets get the Wi-Fi part through first. This coffeemaker can be used manually or hooked thru your smartphone or tablet to start your day while you’re puttin your robe on. The procedure to hook it up is very simple as explained with the instructions. Be sure to read the instructions thoroughly till you get an understanding of whats involved. You will need to get the Free WEMO app thru the android store, I store or Google store. The MAC address in on a sticker on the back of the unit. I had absolutely no problem with any part of the installation. Now the coffeemaker itself. Modern style will fit in every kitchen. Mine matches the Microwave. I want you to remember that part.Every part is like a module and fits together as such. Comes apart,cleans,and goes back together in a snap. It has a water filter disc along with a built in reminder of when it’s time to change it. No more guessing. It takes both paper and permanent filters. I tried both and found it’s basically users choice.The water tank is graduated and easy to read with a removeable lid so there is no hinge to break after a lot of use or flopping down on your hand while trying to fill it. The Carafe is sturdy and holds heat for a while.It cleans up quickly and ready for a reload in a snap. I like the way that the cord can be adjusted to let out only the amount of cord you need to plug it in.Looks sharp. Okay, now the point I cannot get behind. There is no carafe warmer to keep the pot hot and ready to pour hot coffee till you use all 10 cups. This might be a personal thing so don’t let it sway you from this great product. But I’m the type of person who starts out with the first pot of the day and will return again and again till it’s time to start a new pot. with this model, I have found that I have to short pot it so the coffee doesn’t get to the point of having to toss a cup of it in the microwave to get that next hot cup. I wrote earlier to remember this. Like I said, this just might be a personal thing. but it still doesn’t stop you from getting a hot cup of coffee. Would I recommend this to other people ? You bettcha,in a heartbeat. This has got to be the wildest thing I got in the kitchen. Everyone who sees it goes right up to it and wants to know everything about it and try out the Wi-fi part. I’m starting to think that short potting might not be so bad after all. Great Mr. Coffee machine with Spock’s Brain. Looks like its time to live long and make another pot. I give the item a 5 star because of the way it works, not my preference for a warmer.

My Mr. Coffee 10-Cup Optimal Brew Thermal Coffee Maker has thus far performed as advertised. Regardless of the amount of water placed in its water reservoir, the water was heated in 5 minutes, which is more than adequate and faster than the advertised 7 minutes. The resulting coffee always was quite hot and the thermal decanter kept it hot for at least several hours. The stated minimum number of cups that can be brewed at one time is two, so that is disadvantageous for people desiring only one cup. The thermal decanter is very sturdy and, because it is steel, can withstand jostling. The water reservoir and brew basket are very easy to remove and reinstall but, because they are plastic, require more careful handling. There has been no leakage of water from any of the machine’s components. The notification beeper that sounds when the brewing cycle is completed is fairly faint and short, so it is not much of a help. However, people using the WeMo app can receive a notification in that manner and, in any event, the brewing cycle always takes 5 minutes, so it is easy to keep track of when the cycle is completed. (I was unable to test the operation of its WeMo app because I lacked an electronic device with the operating system necessary to run it. In my situation, however, that was not a meaningful disadvantage.)

Everything I expected! I read reviews saying the coffee didn\’t stay hot long enough, but I haven\’t had that problem. My wife, who rarely drinks coffee, had a cup this morning and commented on how fresh and crisp it tasted. Only drawback is that the hopper tends to get grounds in it and I have to rinse it after dumping the used filter out. No biggie though!

I am not happy with this person. The clock runs slowly. The coffee tastes great but I have had many problems with it. The clean light is on. Next time I use it, the light comes back on after I clean it. It takes 20 minutes to brew a pot when this happens. I have run the clean cycle a few times but still have problems.

Feb 8 is Mr. Coffee 10 cup Smart Optimal brew. Coffee has taken their already fully functional coffee system and added the ability to program, start, and stop your daily brew through your phone. There is a level of fabulousness that can’t be put into words. The idea of shaving off time in the morning before running out the door would make most people rush to the store to pick up a bad boy. I got a thrill when I commanded my coffee machine to brew in my living room. Hearing it starts in the other room. As usual Mr. Coffee has put out a quality device that is simple to use, easy to clean, and quickly transforms grounds into fantastic coffee. Being WEMO enabled adds to the bonus of this unit. The setup of the WEMO app on my phone was not as easy as it could have been, but it was not difficult at all. The touch menu for scheduling was a bit buggy but that seemed to be consistent with the little dips and lags that the wifi signal presents at times. The machine is easy to use, easy to set up, and a lot of fun to play with.

I needed a new coffee maker. The Thermal Carafe was the first thing that came to my attention, since I loved having the coffee stay hot for extended periods of time. The main benefit of this type of carafe is that I can refill the pot at my desk without having to go back and forth to the maker to get more. After the selection process was over, I found out that this maker has an advantage. WeMo was in the design. I wanted to try that. I tried to download the app on my phone, but it was not compatible, so I will try to get my daughter to put it on her phone to see if it works. It does work manually. I only give it a 4 star rating because the WeMo wouldn’t download on my systems. When your brew cycle is done it will give you a couple of beeps, but I like that it has a self cleaning feature on it. It takes 7 minutes for each pot, but I timed it on a couple of beers. I didn’t like how slow the carafe was in pouring my coffee to me, it seemed to be a slow thin stream and slower than it really needs to be. I like this and will use it as long as I can.

We are very happy with our new man. Coffee is a great value. It takes about 5 minutes to brew 7 cups. It tells you when it’s time to clean after 80 or so pots of coffee. We don’t use the water filter that can be used if you need it because we have a RO water supply. We bought a thermo coffee pot at the same time we bought a regular coffee pot. Great purchase. We are glad we bought the coffee maker.

It was even better than my previous coffee maker. Coffee. The water filter is connected to the brew basket drawer. I can fill it with water by removing it. The extra step to ensure spillage was done before I had to fill the carafe with water. The thermal decanter keeps the coffee hot. Controls are easy to use. You should download the owner’s manual from Mr. Coffee on page 5 shows that the water is permanently attached to the lid, but they no longer make that model.

This is a review of Mr. Coffee: 10-cup Optimal Brew ‘Smart’ Coffeemaker enabled by WeMoAs the name says it pretty much all, you can brew up to ten cups, and the word “smart” refers to it as a wifi controlled device with the help of the application wemo which you can download The first impression of the coffee maker is that it has an On and Off Button at the front of the coffee maker to start the brew cycle. For a “smart” coffee maker, I was expecting more than that, because you can’t program it on the coffee maker, but once you download the application, it is very easy to navigate, and it has an alarm that can be program up to. When you read “smart”, you expect a little more, but it makes what it is supposed to, but it could be better. I want it to allow you to decide the strength of your coffee, I like strong coffee and this is important for me. The basics for this coffee maker are very simple and I hope they can improve it in the future. On the other hand, it is easy to clean, and you can take out the water reservoir and fill it easily, the brew basket is alsoremovable, and there is a red button that slides to remind you when to change the water filter. The coffee maker keeps the coffee hot for a long time. It’s a good coffee maker, but I can live without it and buy another cheaper one. Is this coffee maker a good choice? To the person who likes technology and programming things in their phone, I think it looks nice and stylish, a little too big but still looks good. If you don’t care about the “smart” wifi control, then don’t buy a coffee maker, there are other coffee makers with more features and a lower price.

When I picked this product, I was very excited. I was able to start my coffee making from bed because it had the carafe pot. The box was assembled and ready to brew, with the exception of the water filter that had to be put in. My opinion of the coffee maker changed from loving it to not liking it at all. It is not clear where you are supposed to put the filter. I had to open it with a knife after figuring out where to put it. I brew a coffee after that. The carafe didn’t keep it as warm as I had hoped. The coffee was not great after less than an hour. The claim that you start your coffee making from bed is complicated, so I have not been able to figure out how to brew it remotely. The coffeemaker was disappointing from Mr. I had expected more from the coffee brand. I would not recommend this product to my friends.
