This is a great kettle. Beautiful but the handle just to cumbersome for my geriatric hands.
Had to return.

This is a very nice kettle, it looks really nice on the counter top and also I liked the fact that it doesn’t have the spiral inside that warms the water, its hidden in the bottom, that makes it a lot easier to clean it.

I love this electric tea kettle. In a few minutes, it’s ready to go! Plus it looks really cool illuminated.

This is a very nice Kettle. Looks really nice on the counter. Quick boil time, and auto shut off when it’s hot. It functions beyond expectations. I will recommend this item to anyone. Excellent product.

We’ve been using this pot for just over a year and a half and it still works great. It does hold a lot of water, which is what I wanted. We used to have a hot pot that only held about a quart of water and the two women in the house (wife and MIL) tried to burn that little pot up more than once. Replacing a burnt up pot is not a big deal; replacing a burnt down house is much harder. But, since it does hold a lot of water it may be a problem for someone without at least some arm strength. My MIL is 87 and she seems to handle it fine. Not only does it hold enough water for everyone in the house you just can’t burn this pot up.
If this pot is already heating up and there isn’t enough water it will turn itself off; the most likely thing is that it won’t turn on at all once the water gets down to the bottom hash mark.
The old pot had no auto turn off so it would boil dry; I have no idea why it never just fried itself, but to it’s credit that little pot just kept on ticking. But this Nesco pot will turn off once the water has boiled; I love that, the women don’t. And when you lift the pot up there is no cord to deal with; the cord stays on the base, and the pot will swivel 360º.
Value: I don’t think you can beat it, considering the amount of water it holds and all the features it has.
Meets Expectations: For me? YES; and then some.
Durability: Yet to be seen, but it’s still ticking after a year and a half plus.
Appearance: Now personally I don’t give a dag-gum what any contraption looks like, as long as it works and does what it is supposed to do. But, if all the features aren’t enough for you and you have to have something pretty then while this is heating water it has a blue light that glows through the whole pot and does make it look pretty.
I personally love this pot.
