Have made apple chips and beef jerky and both have come out great. Makes jerky in about 6 hours. I purchased the two extra trays so I could maximize the potential. The trays seem pretty fragile so I would always carefully wash them by hand. Kind of tedious but worth it for the amount of jerky you get out of it.
