This is a good dehydrator. I researched all the dehydrators on the market and decided on the GardenMaster because it has the ability to expand, the replacement and expansion parts are reasonably priced, and it does an amazing job with every type of food I dehydrated. I use it so often that I bought a second unit. I have dehydrated every type of garden produce and herb that our farm raises using this dehydrator, with great success. I use up to 10 trays because that’s how many I have, but I believe the manufacturer says it’s possible to use 20. I only did 4 trays of mushrooms that didn’t need to be rotating. People say that it’s necessary to rotate trays with the $500 dehydrators. It is easy to use and clean for me. I recommend it, as well as buying additional screens for smaller items or sticky foods.

I love it! I’ve wanted to dry meat and fruit for a long time. I eat a lot of dried fruits and it adds up. I looked at reviews, videos and price. I think it’s worth it for more ease of use than the one that is not digital. I’ve been using it for a week. I’ve eaten mangos, apples, bananas, strawberries, mushrooms, and fruit leather. The information book that comes with this is pretty good, but there are some drying times that need to be adjusted for personal preference. I’m loving everything about this thing. It’s a bonus that this stuff doesn’t have any Preservatives and you can buy it pre dried.
