It seems ok that I haven’t used it yet. A plastic gear drive broke and was replaced with a black and decker. This one has a metal drive.

I bought my computer a month ago. I put it together after forgetting to buy malt mix. I tried to put it together the way the instructions said, but it exploded in my kitchen. I put it together with the jar right side up. I put the jar skirt on the table. The jar was plugged in. I blended my ice cream with malt mix milk. Works well!

If you want to blend absolute LIQUID, this is a great blender. It can’t handle some frozen fruit. I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t lock in position like most blenders do.

It’s perfect for the price. The more expensive blenders don’t do the job that this one does. The plastic scares me a little but it’s fine. The marks on the blender are easy to measure.

I gave this a 3 because I don’t know how it would have worked. I couldn’t seat the jar securely. It would rock no matter how I placed it. The directions and picture are not good. I will return it.

I chose this blender because it claims to be able to crush ice and make smoothie. The first time I used the appliance, I had no problems, other than taking forever to get an adequate amount of ice, because I was careful about putting no more than four ice cubes in at a time. The cheap plastic pitcher cracked at the bottom and a half-dollar sized piece of plastic shot out of it, narrowly missing my head, as I used it for the second time. I was fortunate to escape injury. This happened a week after I couldn’t return the appliance.
