I am on my second pre-programmed tool. My son stole my first one. Hahaha! He adores this model as well. The smoothie maker will crush up frozen fruit and ice. I make a lot of smoothies and shakes. The reverse feature leaves no big chunks of ice. The appropriate setting was used for the best results. Thank you to Oster as well! I broke my pitcher. Someone helped me get a new part after I called them directly. All is well again! It can be loud, but it’s crushing up ice, so no surprise. I would highly recommend this appliance.

For about 5 or 6 years, I had the same blender. I wanted the same thing. The rubber on the lid has been changed. It’s not as good as the last one. We will see how it holds up. Everything else is the same. Go back to the old rubber.

I don’t have to stop the blender to get food out of the blades. The reversal of the blades is done automatically. I like the idea of a blender. It does what it is supposed to do. The lid is snug. You don’t have to worry about closing it. Would definitely recommend.

It was bought to replace a failed blender. The six pronged blades work well in chopping up frozen bananas and other fruits for the occasional smoothie, which is much faster and more complete than any other blender I have owned. It was a bit pricey and doesn’t look as clean as other appliances, but the results have been very good.

I had a broken Vita-mixer for a long time. It works even better if you replace it with this one. I wouldn’t have frozen strawberries in my yogurt with the Vita Mixer. It’s very powerful and I love it.
