We had an electric skillet for almost 2 weeks and have used it many times. Outside and inside. It gets hot in a hurry. We had no issues turning it down to a boil. I own a small car and it travels well. I think we could make a lot of different dishes in this skillet. A picture of lead shows how strong it is. The picture of the lid shows how strong it is. I don’t burn my hands when I lift with the side handles. The dial is easy to read.

It’s a perfect size for most uses. The no stick coating is strong enough to hold up to the occasional use of metal cooking tools. Cleans up. Even heat is provided across the entire surface by the temperature control element. The glass cover was sturdy. There was no heat transfer to the handles.
