The cooker worked well for a month after purchase, but the rubber overpressure plug on the lid fell off. I have a cooker that has a big hole in it’s lid. When pressure builds up, it moves up, and when pressure drops, it moves down. It is held in place by a small rubber lining when it goes up. The rubber doesn’t work in containing the pressure after a couple uses it. It seems like a bad idea to use a rubber valve. The safety valve on the other cooker does not move. The cooker safety valve that my previous 10 years old has been fine without replacement went off in less than a month. The manufacturer website is down all the time and I can’t even contact them, so I would return the cooker if I could. Speak about the poor customer service. You can save yourself the trouble by buying another brand.

She used the pressure cooker to roast pinto beans. A good way to cook. It had been used for 25 years. Allowed steam out a bit, but still pressured. I decided to invest in a new RV for my home. I love my Presto.

I gave away my Presto 6 quart for years. I ordered the same one a few weeks ago and regretted it. I make at least one dinner a week in my pressure cooker. I don’t know if anyone else feels that way, but there’s something relaxing about the sound of the rocker and steam when I sit and read on a cold day.
