This popcorn popper is great. Although the most recent purchase is merely a backup, I do not want to ever be without one. It’s hard to find them sitting on a shelf. The online purchase is what it is. Pops almost all the kernals, cleans up easily, and makes better popcorn than the microwave stuff. It’s great! Do you want to buy one?

I tried to put a review on Westbend’s website, but it didn’t work out. I have been using Stir Crazy poppers for a long time. The unit I received had parts floating in the bottom of the popper housing, and it was difficult to remount the piece that was loose. I made my first batches after washing the top/bowl and popping deck. First batches burned! Wait for it, burned, maybe it was my fault. Don’t buy this unit. A real klinker has been made by Westbend. I want to get an old style Stir Crazy before they all disappear. This unit is junk.

These are the best popcorn poppers. We’ve been married a long time and this was our third Stir Crazy purchase. They have been reliable for many years. They make the best popcorn. It was easy to buy this online and pick it up at the local MySaveMall. We would do it that way again.

The corn popper is dangerous. When you flip the popcorn into the lid to use as a bowl, the red hot coil is completely exposed. I am starting to notice that some of the oil is falling into that base. The new design of the popper is horrible.
