Absolutely love it! Nothing can stop this mixer. Several doughs were made. Nothing has stopped the shredding of meat with the mixing paddle. The KitchenAid is the best mixer you can find for the money. I like the quality of the attachments and the unit had a good heft to it to keep it from jumping around while mixing more solid things like doughs, butter, and shredding meats.

The stand mixer I purchased was over 25 years old. There is a feature that locks the head in the up and down positions. It has enough power to knead my bread dough and is built just a little narrower than my previous mixer, giving me more room on the counter. The color is lovely.

It takes a while to get used to a heavy mixer. The mixer must be stopped to add ingredients. It’s a good safety feature, but it’s inconvenient. It works well, but I haven’t used it a lot. I bought it because it was good for a heavy dough.
