The water is hot and effective. The metal inside does not feel cheap. I use it to make pour over coffee. The only downside is how loud it is. It sounds like a jet engine when I’m making coffee. It woke up my housemate’s bedroom, which is near the kitchen. I get pleasure from waking up my housemate, so there is no problem with this little kettle. 10/10 would buy again.
