This product can be used to make warm or cold beverages. I like to drink warm or iced tea. The kettle is easy to use if you keep it out on the counter. When ready to use, fill the kettle with water. Plug the bottom of the machine into the wall plug and set the kettle on top. When the button pops back up, your water is boiling. Put hot tea in a tea bag. I use a 4 cup measuring cup for iced tea. Pour it into a pitcher. I recommend this product for its looks, ease of use, and ability to heat water.
