I also love this appliance. My husband gave it as a Mother’s Day gift. I like my berry smoothies. It does a better job than my big one. I just did the same thing. It was making a noise. I took it from the base. There was smoke. The blade was loose and had dropped out of the base. As it spun, it was shaving the plastic in the rings. How do I get a new piece?
