I was curious about getting involved with dehydration for a single person in a small apartment, and this dehydrator was good enough to start. I paid $37. 95 would be hard to pass. 36. Why? The time it takes to dehydrate foods is based on other people’s suggested times. There are excellent sources for how to dehydration. I’ve looked at at least three sources to understand what’s involved in storing and drying food. The machine has a thermostat, transparent trays, and two height options.
