Good tasting coffee and really high quality. It’s a glass carafe, so it will get cooler quicker than a thermal, but wish it stayed a little hotter.

This is a great coffee maker. I was surprised that it came with a gold filter. It makes a great cup of coffee in either a small pot or large pot. I can only brew four cups of coffee for myself. The lid would be changed if there were any do overs. I don’t know why the designer chose to have the lid pop off instead of sticking with the traditional levered lid. One additional step seems unnecessary and could easily be fixed. I don’t think it detracts from this machine, but I have seen other reviewers complain about it.

I love this coffee maker. It was easy to use. The first one worked for a long time, but the second one had issues and was replaced by customer support.

The coffee has a good taste. There were issues with the unit. The lid has to be snapped into place because it doesn’t fit well. The other issue is temperature. Even though I like my coffee hot, it runs very hot. The first cup is not as hot as the second or third cup. If left a while, this will cause a burned flavor. Maybe there is a way to adjust this.

Your other coffee makers have the same design flaw. After the coffee is made and the lid is lifted to remove the filter, condensation drips down the back of the unit forming a puddle of water on the counter top. Everything is wet.

My coffee maker makes great coffee. I like the smaller option. The only complaint I have is that the coffee handle is open. You can’t wash it in the dishwasher because the handle will fill up with water. The customer service representative said that was normal. The handle wasn’t closed at the bottom. I don’t think this is a good design. The handle needs to be closed.

I received a new dcc-1120 coffeemaker as a replacement for a unit that malfunctioned 22 months into the 36 month warranty. After contacting Cuisinart about the problem, the service rep lead me through a few tests before agreeing to ship me a new unit. Defects occur every once in a while. That’s life. When that happens, how a company responds is what makes or breaks a company. It’s great to see Cuisinart backing its products. I have a new coffeemaker.

I found it cumbersome to fill, the heat plate did not keep the coffee warm once the brew cycle stopped, and I burned my thumb pouring the coffee due to a poorly designed carafe.

I replaced my coffee maker 15 years ago. This one isn’t as strong. The plastic is not as thick. It is not easy to pour water into the chamber from the top lid.
