The stand mixer I purchased was over 25 years old. There is a feature that locks the head in the up and down positions. It has enough power to knead my bread dough and is built just a little narrower than my previous mixer, giving me more room on the counter. The color is lovely.

The brand is as good as the cheaper one. I am not a professional chef. Why do I have to pay more for this appliance? I don’t! It is an excellent brand name. It is synonymous with the food processor. Their stand mixer is of that caliber as well.
