We like poached eggs and have had several egg cookers over the years. My new Cuisinart is by far the best. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to put a little more of a handle on the lid to avoid the steam when lifting.

I’ve been using my egg cooker for a while now and I’m very happy with the results. I like that the boiled eggs are easy to cook. You can make omelets with large eggs, but not xlarge, and you can add cheese or mushrooms, but a little, but the texture is very good. I love the soft boiled eggs. I replaced a 20 year old cooker that was not made any more and tried a few other brands but found this one up to a good standard and quality.

I use this a lot for omelets and hard boiling eggs. Poaching is hard. The individual cups don’t cook the way I like, so I rarely use that feature. I use the feature frequently. This cooker is recommended by me.

It’s easy to use and cooks eggs perfectly. Don’t add the top egg holder, cook only eggs on the main platform. I punched a tiny hole in each egg to follow the instructions. Eggs were cracked when the water boiled over and out of the cooker. After the water boiled out, the water pan got a bit brown. Dawn Powerwash was used to remove the stuck egg. I will only use the bottom rack in the future.

My mother-in-law had a similar Egg Cooker that she used for 10 years. We had it when she died. It was still functional despite being well used. The new one we purchased was just as good as the old one. The old one was passed on to a family member. It can be used as a fast cooker.
