The electric skillet is useful. It’s large and heavy and great for cooking entire meals. It has been used daily for almost a week. I have cooked a whole quartered chicken, steaks, eggs, and dessert pan cake. The temperature is accurate and the heat is fast. While it’s on, it’s cool to touch the handles and cover the knob. When you take off the thermostat, you can use the entire skillet as a serving dish. You can watch your food cook closely with the clear glass lid. It’s easy to cook on the 3” side walls because it’s so deep. It’s a non stick surface so it’s easy to serve and clean.

You can use this electric skillet in your cooking space. This can get pulled out if the cooktop is full. It’s great for gatherings. The surface works well. I haven’t seen any chipping. Sometimes the cords can get hot, so I like the cord release design. Two plastic handles are used to lever the plug from the coil. One must be careful with this skillet because it gets hot. The handles are relatively cool and could be moved if necessary. I like the glass cover because I can see my food cooking.
