When I received the Hamilton Beach Dual Breakfast Maker I was actually a little intimidated by it. It seemed like there were a lot of steps in the instructions. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it actually is to use. You must follow the instructions exactly. They provide you with a Quick Start sheet which is what I followed. Be sure to PREHEAT the unit before using it. The first time I used it I forgot to use the cooking spray but it was still not hard to remove the sandwich. I used english muffins, eggs, onion and cheese. It turned out really good and next time I will add salami and alfalfa sprouts and a little ranch dressing. The clean up is super easy as the cooking rings and plates come right off of the machine. Then I just washed top and bottom of machine and rinsed it.
What I really like about the Hamilton Beach Dual Breakfast Sandwich Maker is that you can cook two sandwiches at once and that you know what ingredients are in your sandwich. If you buy a sandwich at a fast food restaurant, it can be full of sodium and other ingredients you may not even know about.
I also did a little experimenting and made a reuben sandwich. I sprayed the maker with butter flavored cooking spray and then pressed a ring on the regular bread, cut it into the circular shape with a scissors. I added corned beef, sauerkraut,thousand island dressing and swiss cheese. I didn\’t put the plate in between, just left it off to the side. I cooked them for 5 minutes after preheating and when the time was up, I just flipped them and let the top side get a little browner. They turned out awesome! So next I tried grilled tuna fish sandwich by using the same method as above but used tuna, onion, celery, banana peppers (optional) and mayo. I cut the bread the same way as the reuben sandwich using the rings and also flipped it over after the timer was up to brown the top side a little. Clean up was a cinch once again. I am really pleased with this sandwich maker as I can have a tasty sandwich in five minutes.
It comes with a one year warranty in the US and five years in Canada.
I am looking forward to making the pancake sandwich and I want to try using Eggo waffles too. I will just have to cut them circular like the bread.

I love this sandwich maker. If you love breakfast sandwiches but don\’t like paying for them at fast food joints or would like to have more control of what goes into your sandwich, this is for you. The sandwiches I made for the family were better than the ones from the restaurant. This is great. It is easy to clean up. My family and I love the sausage and egg muffins you can get from the fast food places, but this allows me to make them at a fraction of the cost and choose what is in it. Once you have everything in the disks, it takes 5 minutes to cook. It doesn\’t take much time or effort to cook your meat prior to use. I made some ham, egg, and cheese sandwiches with cold cooked ham from the deli and the sandwich maker heated them up nice and hot. I was worried that the egg would come out of the rings and go all over the place, but I was able to cook it up nice. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to make breakfast sandwiches.

This works well and is great for convenience, but I can definitely make them faster on a stove top. The size of the egg makes it difficult to hold. It’s great for my 13 year old son to make his own sandwich in the morning, he used to make scrambled egg/omelet style in the microwave before. If I am cooking for everyone, I wouldn’t get this out, but if it’s just for one person, it will do the trick. You can know when the time is up but the timer doesn’t turn the unit off. It’s really easy to take the sandwich out of the machine if you’re on hand. If you need to make more than one sandwich, you must wait 2 minutes to make sure the machine has had a chance to preheat to the right temperature again.
