At the time I purchased this coffee machine, it seemed like a great deal. It has a nice looking backlit screen, and it has a good variety of options. There were a couple of unusual scratches and marks on the machine, and the hot plate was put into the bottom by a bit and the left side was lower than the right. The bottom of the brew basket is not aligned with the top of the carafe, which makes the coffee dripping over the side of the carafe onto the hot plate. I don’t know if this is a factory defect or a returned product. I would like a replacement.

The thoughtful extras in this coffee machine really go a long way to make our life easier, because my husband and I make coffee a few times a day. If you have to move the water from the front of the coffee maker, it’s not a big deal. The coffee basket just swings out! The option is very easy to set up. If you want to make coffee in the future, you don’t have to wait for it to pre-heat. It seems like it would save wear and tear on your coffee machine. Very thoughtful! As people who can make a carafe but also multiple small batches of coffee during the day, the ‘1-4 cups’ feature really came in handy for us. The bold setting works well for a carafe or partial carafe full, and the 1-4 cup setting makes a nice cup of coffee. The options are bold, clean or regular. If you want a full carafe, put the appropriate amount of water in. You can fill it with the amount you choose. Water doesn’t stay in your coffee marker indefinitely. I appreciate that you can add a water filter, it doesn’t come with any, so I think we’ll be purchasing them so that we can keep it running smoothly even though our city water isn’t the best for coffee makers. It makes better coffee, takes up less counter space, and is more expensive than other options. This is an excellent coffee maker with options that are usually more expensive to purchase from other brands. This will fit most daily coffee drinkers needs from 1 cup to 12 cups.

I like the feature that has an led light to make sure it is on when I want it to be. We have lower cabinets in our kitchen, so the front fill basket for the grounds is really handy, and the front fill for the water makes it much easier, because I have to pull the whole coffee pot out on the counter to fill it.
