I can blend my breakfast and take the “cup” with me while I get ready for work because it handles all types of fruit. The cover isn’t the same as my original, but it will work for me. After researching them, I decided on a full size blender. It’s just to large for one person and they have to clean it after every use. The single serve at Hamilton Beach is awesome. I can get two portions in one jar. One to run out the door with and one pond my return are some of the things I start with in the morning. It takes very little counter space and comes with two jars so I can blend my cooking items in one and my fruit drinks in the other. I ordered a second unit as it’s a great value and I’ll have a back if the company comes in. Is that the case?

I have two Hamilton Beach single serve blenders. The first was for a long time. I have lost track of how old it is. I replaced the first with this. I own a large glass blender. My husband and I love the single serve one better because it’s easy to clean the blender and lid in the dishwasher, it’s easy to pour or retrieve blended ingredients, and it’s powerful enough to blend anything. The blender comes with two jars. This makes sure that one is always clean and ready to use.

Cheap and delicious! It will stop the blade if you use frozen fruit or ice. I have to change the mixer so that my fruit can be blended and not have chunks in my smoothie. You will get more bang for your buck if you spend a couple more dollars.

I expected that, at the price and size, it wouldn’t be very powerful, so I’ve handled it with kid gloves and lots of liquid. It doesn’t have a powerful motor and the blades aren’t very sharp, so please be aware that it doesn’t have a powerful motor. You’ll be happy with it if you don’t expect it to work like a $500 blender.

The smoothie maker was purchased to make it. It was recommended to me by a family member who is very satisfied with it’s performance. I’ve only used it to blend drinks, and it works great. The taste and texture of the drinks is very similar to a milkshake using this as opposed to the bottle which leaves a grainy texture. I like the fact that this blender is aesthetically pleasing. For dorm rooms, small apartments, and very small kitchens, the Hamilton Beach Single Serve Blender is the right blender. There are not the bells and whistles of conventional blenders and the capacity is just enough for one person. The metal blades inside the cup are the only thing that can come apart for cleaning, unlike most blenders. I can’t tell after three or four days if this is flimsy or durable. The compact design of this blender is the best thing about it. It’s the perfect size for small apartments with only one or two people. It can be difficult to clean without a dishwasher.

This is a great smoothie maker. The travel lid is ready to go and the blades are built right into the base. It’s easy, you just add the liquid or fruit and blend it. You are ready to go if you just touch one button. Even with water added it can’t crush ice because it’s not powerful enough. You can make dressings with eggs. You will always have a cup ready to go with the two cups and two lids. The cup and lid are dishwasher safe and the white base and lid look great sitting on your counter.
