This review was part of a promotion. I bought this kettle a month ago and I love it. I needed something to match my kitchen appliances, which are all in a variety of shades of this colour or seafoam, and this kettle was perfect. It turned out to be something I love for function. As a ceramic artist, I know how hard it is to make a functional spout that pours well without dripping and flowing all over the place. The design of the handle makes it easy to pour, and because of the tight-fitting lid and lightweight body, the entire contents of the kettle can be poured out without the lid falling off or your arms getting tired. It takes a few minutes for the steam to clear before you open the lid and pour more water in, so be careful if you want to boil another kettle right away. Don’t worry, this kettle has plenty of water for that perfect pot of tea.

This is a small kettle. It heats up a cup of water for my tea in less time than the microwave can do it, and a lot faster than a traditional stove top kettle. It’s pretty. It clicks itself off, that’s another thing I like. I ruined a few traditional kettles because I couldn’t hear the whistle, so I ran outside to check on the child. It won’t happen with this kettle. The people made a big deal about the plastic inside. Kitchen Aid said that there are at least two cups of water below the plastic. I think the toxicity in our environment is more important than the chance of a tiny amount from a little plastic while heating up a cup of water once or twice a day. Really? The kettle was packaged well and arrived in perfect shape. I am very happy with my order.
