This is a nice alternative to having to use a regular blender for smaller things. I received mine as a gift and didn\’t think I\’d use it as much as I do. It\’s great for scrambling eggs and making salad dressings! The only negative thing is that you can\’t use it for something that\’s a thicker… like mashing potatoes.

I love my blender and so do my four daughters! It is a great mess and time saver when you are making soup especially! There\’s no need to transfer to a blender when it is too hot to handle.
I also love the selection of colors. We each have a different color to match our kitchens!

There is a Christmas present. A thick smoothie crushing the ice. When the parsnips came to the table, they were hot and it was a perfect job of mashing them. It was easy to blend the soup in the pot. That is a safer way to do it.

So much better! My old hand blender was so powerful that it dragged my hand to the bottom of every container I used. It was difficult to get it well blended. The end was plastic. It’s metal and does a better job than the other one because it’s still powerful and quieter. It’s more expensive but it’s worth it!

When my husband brought this home, I was really excited. I was able to make better sauces and soups. The only thing I dislike about this is the fact that the two sections easily come apart. You can’t always tell if it’s good until you start using it. I’ve only used it twice and that would be my only complaint.

I bought this awhile ago, and I’m happy I did. It’s a great tool for soups and sauces.

I make soups and salsas. I put the hand blender in the jar and whirl it away, rinse it and then I’m done! No more units to take apart and wash.

I have a very picky cat. It was suggested to get a hand blender because she is not alone. I bought a new kitchen aid mixer and decided to get a hand blender as well. We are both happy that she is eating more of her food.

I use the handblender every day. It’s easy to clean. There is an index on the blade assembly that matches one on the motor that helps them stay together. This feature in the Use and Care Guide would be nice if they were a little larger. This is my second one. ). It is easier to clean. Better design. Thanks!

This works well. The parts connecting the handle and shaft are made of metal. I didn’t have stripped gears like my previous blender. It makes great soup and smoothie. But… The parts don’t seem to be held together as securely when blended. There are no major problems yet.

We registered for this as a wedding gift after taking a soup cooking class. The blender has a lot of power and can cut through veggies. It doesn’t scratch the bottom of pots/pans and eliminates the mess you’d have with a chopper. I might have gotten one with a chopper attachment if I’d known there were more than one attachment. It’s necessary to balance the heavy blender. I haven’t used the plastic cup to blend because I feel it’s not heavy enough. It’s hard to not splatter if you keep it fully emerged in a bowl. A flat bottomed pot is used to make salsa. It was very easy to clean and hold it.

I was in the middle of making my family’s favorite Cream of Broccoli soup when my old hand-held blender died. I bought the KitchenAid 2-Speed Hand Blender at the store and used it to make soup. It was like a dream. I put the entire pot of soup in a container. My kids said that the soup was better consistency than before. They rave about the soup again after we had it last night. It’s easy to clean-up. The added measuring cup for malts/frappes/shakes/smoothies is really convenient and a bonus I never received with my old hand-held blender. Thank you KitchenAid for making another great product for our family to enjoy for many years to come!

I make salsa once a week. My kids don’t know that the onions and peppers are being reduced. If you prefer, you can leave the salsa small.

We got ours a few weeks ago. The mixer makes it easy to puree anything that isn’t stringy. For beef, I have to use a blender, but for everything else, it’s easy. It’s easy to clean and powerful. It takes a little getting used to but I love it. We tried a cheaper brand and it wasn’t very good. It took a long time to blend. This one is well built and has power. It’s what we needed.

If you’re looking for a basic hand blender, this product is great and it comes in a red colour which adds some excitement to my kitchen. There are more accessories that are useful. I am satisfied with its performance and ability to blend. If you’re trying to maneuver with it a lot, you need to be careful about how the bottom “blending” part can become unhooked from the top hand-held part. You have to hold it with both hands, one on the bottom and one on the top. It’s hard to use the blender with one hand.

I have only used it once, but I am very pleased with it. It only took a few seconds to smooth out my home made tomato sauce, and it was very easy to use. I put it in the pot on the stove. It didn’t make a mess of the stove and the blender was easy to clean after. It’s compact to store and keep handy. I will find more uses for it in the future.

The old Rival gave into the pressure of everyday use and was replaced about a month ago. Kids love using it for smoothies in the morning.

Like all KitchenAid products it is easy to use. This one is better than the one I had before. You blend and chop like a pro, that’s what every kitchen should have. I am very happy with my new appliance. This review was part of a promotion. )

It’s hard to tell which speed I’m pushing. It’s hard to press the button for my arthritic thumbs. I was expecting more ease of use from the product.

I am very excited to have a 2 speed blender. I made the most smooth soup I have ever made when I made butternut squash soup. It was delicious! This review was part of a promotion. )

Long blades for quick and efficient blend; solid-state materials; wand twists on/off for easy cleaning. If my hands are wet, I don’t have to worry. I would not sacrifice the quality of the system for a lighter one.

I wish I’d bought it a long time ago. I have used the handblender several times. E. Squash soup, mashed cauliflower, fruit smoothie. Blending hot foods takes the worry out of it. I think this is a quality KitchenAid tool. I was able to attach the shaft to the motor. Direction could be clearer. The problem of lining everything up was solved.

I bought a blender on impulse. It was small enough to stay on the countertop, it was a gorgeous blue color, and it was a KitchenAid product. How could I go wrong? It was easy to use. I make a lot of smoothies and the ingredients blend easily. The only complaint I have is that the blender tips over. The cord is stiff from being boxed so it is awkward to turn the blender around if I am not precise about standing it up on the counter. I’ll keep using it and I’m sure the cord will relax with use. I would like to make my own laundry soap.

I just bought something. I can’t believe what a difference it makes. I tried to make my own mayonnaise, but it came out like a salad dressing. The hand blender is fast. It produced the consistency I had been looking for. I like it.
