I have used this beater many times. I heard a sound like a glass in the bowl while I was making chocolate chip cookies. I didn’t have any jewelry. There was nothing that could have caused the batter to fall into it. I transferred the batter from one bowl to another to make sure there were no foreign objects in the dough, because I didn’t want to add chocolate chips until I knew nothing was in the batter. My cookies will be difficult now that I have over- handled them. It’s two batches… If the chips are ruined, then add them. Anger.
