I bought this for my mother as a gift and she used it this weekend. Big enough to make a large cake and more aesthetically pleasing than most of the bowl that comes with the KitchenAid mixers.

This is more than just a mixing bowl. The quilted pattern makes it look pretty, and you can use it for serving as well. The handle is easy to grip. This is a sturdy bowl. This product is very good.

This bowl is just as functional as their normal bowl. It’s rare to get a compliment on a mixing bowl, but I have had people compliment it on how pretty it is. It is large enough to make large batches. I was a little worried that the inside of the bowl would make it harder to clean, but I have not experienced any difference from the regular smooth bowl. The one place where the star is missing is that some of the pattern appears to have been scratched into the metal. Nobody will ever look that close to the design because it takes away from the beauty of it. If the outside is not cleaned well, it may be a chance forbacteria to take hold. A sharp looking upgrade from their regular bowl.

I wanted to add this item to my kitchen aid since my current one has no handle. The handle on the bowl makes it easier to move around in the kitchen. My KitchenAid mixer has a quilted bowl. It’s a perfect fit for my mixer and I prefer it over the heavier glass bowl. Larger recipes can be accommodated in the 5 quart size. I would recommend this bowl to anyone.

I have had my KitchenAid mixer with the basic bowl for over three years now and while I love it, I’ve always wanted a bowl that has a handle. The handle of this bowl makes it easy to hold while I scoop cookie dough from the baking sheet. I love that it has a hammered look and looks great on my countertop.
