The motor got broken instead of being turned off by the safety feature. It doesn’t say where it was made, but it does say it was assembled in the US. It’s clear where it was made. It has a safety feature. The motor broke the plastic inside when it couldn’t stop forcing.

My shake is ready quickly because the blender is strong enough to blend up the fruit. Running hot water over the blender will clean it from the shake. Having an easy clean-up is great for people who have never had a shake. I like my new kitchen aid maker.
