Just have the time to try this unit out, for the *first* time, and the plastic or powder coat on the dough hook is pealing off. I\’m fairly sure that this stuff is not good to the human body. Why would you put a coating like that on a \”sticky\” dough hook? Very unhappy given the $450+ we spent on this.

I\’ve been wanting one forever, and finally my mother\’s old Sunbeam cords wore out. Happy Birthday to me – I bought it and what a difference! The dough hook and mixing paddle perfectly reach the sides of the bowl for a thorough mixing job. Love the handle on the light weight metal bowl, too!
