I have had a beater for a while. I am replacing it because the coating is chipping. It is horrible to think that the food may have contained the coating. This item should have been recalled if it has been an ongoing problem.

I use my mixer for everything. I make a lot of Christmas cookies and the paint is chipping off my beater into them. I would like to see something else besides a coated beater.

I love my KitchenAid mixer. I have had to replace my beater three times because it ends up chipping off. So disappointed. I don’t have a choice but to order another.

The Professional 600 series mixer has a white coated edge beater and a silver coated edge beater. The white one has chips in it, but the silver one is turning a white dishcloth gray.

I bake a lot and use my mixer a lot. The top of the line Kitchen Aid Proline Mixer is what I have. I wonder why Kitchen Aid doesn’t make a better product because this paddle attachment has been replaced so many times. I don’t know if the coating is safe to eat because of the pitting and chipping. Some of the chips may end up in the food. I’m going to try the steel version.

I have the same complaint. My blade is damaged. There are chips in my baked goods. Are you waiting for someone to file a lawsuit to fix the problem? I was surprised it hasn’t happened. I have to write a review to find out if you have a fix or not. You can post it on this site. Every complaint has the same response.

The Pro Line 7 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer has a beater. The metal is exposed after the coating on the tip has come off.

The first week I used my mixer, it was chipping. I checked that it doesn’t hit the bowl. I used it for the second time today and it has 888-405-7720. There are two chips on the paddle. The price is very frustrating and I wonder why they need a coating.

His page states that the beater chips. It’s on top, bottom and sides. I would like to hear how KitchenAid is addressing this flaw. Thank you, I look forward to a response.

The beater coating at the tip cracked off when I used my new mixer twice. It turned my batter gray when I tried using it. It’s out of stock. I have been waiting for a replacement for six weeks. The beater should be made of steel. For 35 years, I never had a problem with my Sunbeam mixer.
