I would like the mixer to be more powerful. The bowl doesn’t fit the stand. When using the dough hook, it will fly off. I cannot remove the bowl without help if I push it as tight as possible. It took two of us, a block of wood and a hammer to get the bowl out. It’s either loose or tight. I need to add flour because the motor groans when I’m kneading at a lower speed.

This was given to me around Christmas 2023. It’s not ideal for a mixer. The paddle doesn’t reach the bottom of the bowl, with only two cups of flour in the bowl the attachment grab and pull the bowl out of the stand. I returned to hand mixers.

I have a KitchenAid stand mixer. No one at KitchenAid CSR or Repair could figure out my problem. Repairs are more expensive than payments on a new one. I adjusted my old mixer when I got the new one because I looked at the bolt holding the head to the base. The lever that locks the head in place slid easily, and when I turned the mixer on, it didn’t jump like it was going to go off the counter. It was new to me. I called kitchenAid back to let them know that I had figured it out and that they would give the information to their repair/troubleshooters. I gave my old mixer to my niece-in-law, who had always wanted one. I hope KitchenAid continues to maintain the quality of their small appliances.
