Works perfectly for tomatoes! Haven\’t tried it with anything else, but we put up 60 jars of garden tomatoes this year with the help of this gadget. No need to skin or seed them. What a time saver!

Love! During canning season, I use this attachment with my grinder. It’s the best attachemnt I’ve ever bought. My daughter and I canned some food. Thanks to this, we processed a lot of apples in a short period of time. Tomatoes were easy to pick. I wouldn’t do the amount of canning if I didn’t have this. Thank you so much!

A friend told me that it made processing tomatoes easier. I liked it so much that I ordered it. It was much easier to use the old food mill.

I made a mistake ordering an attachment that wasn’t KitchenAid, but it was compatible with. I sent it back to the sender. The tomato strainer was made of plastic and did not fit into the KitchenAid mixer. The KitchenAid tomato strainer was easy to use and fit well, I ordered it and received it. The strainer was held tight by the set screw. Cleanup is easy. I highly recommend. Attachments that are not manufactured for you are not worth your time. It was a good reminder. I have faith that it will work for many years.

I’ve been using this for a few years to strain my tomato crop. I used to have a Squeezo strainer with a hand crank. It was a lot of work. I stripped the crank after hooking up my electric drill. This has made the job more enjoyable. I wouldn’t have been able to process this many tomatoes with the hand crank because of the bumper crop. You have to find a way to keep the peel and seeds out of the sauce. I have a cutting board in between the bowl and container to catch the peels. I’ve made a few gallons of sauce.

We got this two weeks ago but haven’t used it yet. We are canning roma tomatoes and this thing really does a good job, what I did was run the tomatoes through the strainer three times to get more juice out of the tomatoes, but I wouldn’t try four times like I did – you might say it got a little constipated
