Not quite sure I am personally ready to be a professional barista but I am definitely happy with my growing ability to make an amazing expresso. I love when my family members come over and head right for the expresso machine and make professional looking and tasting expresso. It doesn\’t stop at expresso, you can choose hot water for making the kids hot cocoa and they feel special too. You get 2 single wall filter baskets so you can use freshly ground coffee for either a single or double shot cup. Also, 2 double wall filter baskets are in the box so you can use regular ground coffee. The drip tray is removable for easy cleanup and so is the steam wand. This machine has a cleaning cycle I can run so I don\’t need to worry that mold or lime will build inside. It\’s important to not use distilled or spring water, per instructions. Instructions say you can adjust the water temperature higher but I didn\’t feel a need to try, it sounded too complicated and I thought it was already perfect. KitchenAid has really made expresso making something even I can master.

The KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine is awesome. It gives a new meaning to coffee. The espresso machine has everything you need to make a great espresso. Before we got it down pat, we tried it a few times. The settings on the machine are easy to use. The design is great. It is very easy to clean up after each use. It is great.

It\’s so easy to make your own espresso at home because we are a coffee/espresso-loving family. It\’s easy to brew a pot of coffee with a traditional coffee machine because I\’ve always been intimidated by espresso machines. We\’ve decided to just make espresso instead of a pot of coffee because it\’s more convenient. It\’s so hot that there\’s no need to wait for that morning coffee hit. I like to add a little steamed milk to the steaming wand. The machine looks nice on the counter and is easy to operate. It feels sturdy and substantial, and you can tell it\’s high quality. Highly recommended for espresso lovers.

The expresso machine is easy to use and makes a perfect latte. It was easy to steam the milk.

Before the shot is done, get your straw ready and drink your espresso. Your Latte will be cold by the time you’re done frothing it. There is no “hot” even at the highest setting.

The KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine has been a great addition to my kitchen. The retro design fits perfectly on my countertop. It feels solid and well-built, with a mix of metal and plastic parts. Even though it has a good mix of manual control and automation, it is easy to use. The steam wand is great for frothing milk for my lattes and cappuccinos, it comes with a portafilter, tamper, and scoop. The performance is top-notch. Every shot of espresso is made just right by the machine, which heats up quickly and keeps a consistent water temperature. The shot volume and pressure can be adjusted to match my preferences.

I love my KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine. The dual smart temperature sensors ensure a perfect brew every time, and the versatile steam wand makes crafting specialty drinks a breeze. The commercial-grade portafilter makes it easy to achieve rich, full-flavor espresso shots, and the compact design fits perfectly on my countertop. The thermocoil technology heats water up in under 40 seconds, and the 15-Bar pump provides optimal water pressure. It’s like having my own coffee shop at home when I’m experimenting with different drinks and flavors. If you love espresso and want to elevate your coffee game, this machine is for you.

It was my first experience with a home espresso machine. The ease of operation is something that I am very impressed with. I have used KitchenAid appliances for many years and have always appreciated the quality.

After a few days of use, I am in love with the espresso machine that I received from my parents and did not read any reviews online. I already own an espresso machine from one of the other popular brands and I am amazed at the level of extraction, the amount of crema, and the consistency of espresso shots that I am able to achieve with this KitchenAid espresso machine. Unboxing experience is very satisfying. The machine feels like it will last for a long time. There are several high-quality accessories that will get you up and running straight out of the box. The flat bottom of the portafilter makes it easy to brew coffee. The machines that I have used have been louder. The water temperature and amount of water can be adjusted. At heating and frothing milk, the steam wand rotates and pivots in various ways. The tray doesn’t need to be changed after every espresso is made. The clean cycle button makes cleaning the machine easy and intuitive. Plastic housing degrades the overall premium look and feel of the machine. The finish is available at a higher price. It is inconvenient to turn on/off the power button at the back of the machine. It would be great if there was a sleep mode or auto-off feature. condensation can be seen in the water tank and lid The overall look and feel of the machine is taken away by the plastic handle on the water tank. The full set of accessories should include a bottomless portafilter. The KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine is a great choice for those looking for an upgrade or a new espresso machine. The machine is not cheap but it is fairly priced. You’ll need to spend a lot more for a similar machine. P. S. I would love to try out the burr coffee grinder and the automatic milk frother attachment from KitchenAid. When I get a chance to test those out, I will leave a review.

This was a huge learning curve for me, but I get better and better every time I practice. I bought Illy espresso and it tastes great. It is possible to make single or double shot espressos. The tapper hit the espresso well. I like to froth oat milk with the steamer. This machine is fun to use as a barista.

This machine has been with us for a few months. It makes great espresso drinks when it works. When the machine gets too hot, it shuts off the steamer. You have to turn it off for 30 minutes so it cools down. I don’t know if this is a defect in ours, but we are really disappointed with it. KitchenAid is my absolute ride or die and I will defend my stand mixer until the end of time, but this machine let us down after just a few months.

I bought it in July. I still can’t get it to work properly over a month later. The milk won’t be frothed for anything. Since I’ve used it, kitchen aid won’t take it as a return. You have to use it to realize it doesn’t work. Don’t bother buying something if it doesn’t work out, you’re stuck with it.

It’s ideal for smaller kitchens with less counter space. A perfect espresso experience is made possible by the unit’s dosage selector and 4 filter baskets. The engineers made sure the espresso maker had everything, I like the cup warmer on the top. The tamper is made from high quality materials. The water tank has a handle. The espresso machine deserves 5 stars.

The KitchenAid espresso machine is awesome. I am new to espresso and can’t compare it to any other. This one is amazing. It makes a cup of espresso. It comes with a sturdy weighted tamper. It is easy to setup. It is easy to clean. Just pop the basket, toss the grounds, rinse the filters, and you are good to go. The machine is ready very quickly. It doesn’t take a lot of space on my kitchen counter. It is great. It’s expensive, but awesome.

For a novice espresso maker like me, this was easy to learn and use. I no longer have to stop by a shop to enjoy a cup of coffee. It is easy to clean and does not take up much counter space. The milk frother takes some practice.

The heavy duty build quality and attention to detail were the first things I noticed after unpacking the espresso machine. The machine is of excellent quality. It looks great in our kitchen. The espresso machine has a small form factor. It’s under my cabinets so I don’t have to slide it forward to refill it. The tray on top works well. Everything you need to start is in this machine. The item was well protected. After making about 5 espresso shots, I was able to dial in the size of the espresso and get a delicious drink. I used fresh ground beans. The espresso that this machine produces is very hot and excellent. The portafilter is flat, which makes it easy to pull my shot. An auto frother can be attached to the milk steaming wand. I tried both the manual and auto frother. I was impressed with how well the frother produced foamy milk. It allows you to change the amount of milk and foam. I had a hard time getting a good milk steaming wand with the manual. After a few weeks of getting used to it, I was able to find a technique that worked well and I was making cafe quality lattes/cappuccinos.

I am testing the KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine. This machine is really cool. Its temperature sensor can heat and brew in less than 45 seconds. It gives you choices on what you want. I don’t know what would make a expresso better, as I am not a coffee drinker. I made a expresso for my husband. Even though I followed the directions, I was overwhelmed with how to use it since there were different size presses to use. How will I know what to do if I don’t drink coffee? I ended up making him a mocha because my husband told me I was making the expresso too bitter. He liked how floaty it was after I used the frother. I like using this to make hot cocoa, it comes out better than using hot water. I don’t know if I can ever go back to that. If you don’t have a lot of counter space, you need to think about it. The espresso machine is really nice. I don’t use coffee the way it should be used because I don’t drink coffee. My family and I will enjoy using this to make hot cocoa.

It became dangerous after we had it for a year. Coffee grounds burst everywhere when you put the coffee into loosens and boiling water. The same thing happened when we cleaned it again. It was frightening.

The designers and everyone who worked on the machine are appreciated. Life is too short to drink coffee. I would love for anyone considering this machine to come over and have a cup. The Single Wall is a better type of filters. I am completely satisfied with the deal. Thanks.

I received a Christmas gift from my family. There are variations of hot drinks. A small amount of baileys with the latte goes well.

This is a good espresso machine. Consistency is what it does and what you expect it to do. The steamer is loud and takes a long time to warm the milk up. I love that the water tank holds a lot of water, but the steamer leaks into the tray when it’s being used, so I have to empty the tray after each use. It is a very sleek addition to my kitchen. A porta filter screen is needed to prevent the puck from leaving grounds on the group head.

The machine worked well for 4 days, but then the double shot function stopped working. It seemed like an electronics issue, where the machine stopped running and would only make a small amount of espresso at a very low pressure. We descaled the machine, reset to factory settings, tried adjusting the water settings, but no luck. The machine would be a 5 star product if it worked like it did for the first 4 days. Returned it.

The espresso machine is easy to use and makes great espresso and milk foamer as well.

When I got this out of the box, I was overwhelmed by how fancy it was. I was ready to start after I read the instructions and understood the espresso machine’s four different filters. It took less than a minute for the water to heat up and brew a double shot of espresso. I am excited to add milk to my coffee because I haven’t used the frother yet. I am sure I will get more creative with my coffee creations because this will save me a lot of money.

This is a great espresso machine. The directions give you everything you need to know about espresso drinks and how much ground coffee to use. The sound doesn’t last long when it’s just a little loud. It takes a while to learn, but once you know how to do it, you’ll be good to go!
MyAlst (verified owner) –
We have been using this espresso machine for over a month. There were no problems or waiting in between cups. We don’t have the crĂ©ma result and good flavor with the double fond which we always use with the 2 cup filter. The KitchenAid is wonderful.
Leslie500 (verified owner) –
I don’t recommend buying this machine, first of all, it won’t go off of cleaning mode no matter what you do, and second, it’s a piece of shit.
