I just got this for Christmas. I originally received the Tassimo but after reading about it and checking out the prices of the disks I realized it wasn’t what I really wanted. I wanted a simple to use espresso maching and the Mr. Coffee was exactly what I was looking for and was $60 less than the Tassimo. I wasn’t sure what coffee would be best so I went to Starbuck’s and asked them. They will grind the coffee beans for you. I chose their Espresso Roast/Blend, which is what they use to make their drinks. So simple. I got 1/4 pound Espresso Roast for $3.50. I only have about 3 drinks a week so this was plenty for me since the machine only takes about 2 scoops for each brew. If you have any questions I found that the barista was extremely helpful at Starbucks but I’m sure you could go to any coffee house and they could answer your questions. Happy Brewing!

So happy with this machine. I have owned a coffee shop and know how expensive these machines are. This one is such a great value!!! The biggest draw back is that it is very slow, but if you’re only making one latte each morning, who cares? I use mine every day and save lots of money on my coffee cravings!

I have had it 10 days. When I first set it up there was a flimsy plastic tab attached to the handle of the espresso grain part. It immediatly broke off and I had a bad feeling the whole thing was going to be junk. Everything else works great and I do not see what the purpose of the part that broke of was for anyways. I’m not an expert on espresso but for 36$ who can complain. The espresso is good and the steamer works.

When I bought my 1st one I loved it! I\’m on my 3rd right now because after about 8 months the steamer quits working or the removable plastic on the steamer breaks. It makes my coffee just the way I like it, but it takes me exactly 13 minutes to brew and steam. It\’s price is great and so is the coffee, but it doesn\’t last long enough in my opinion.

The Mr. Coffee Espresso maker may be one of the least expensive machines on the market for under $40, but don\’t let that fool you. While Mr. Coffee is not known for their line of espresso machines, they have come up with a quality product. This machine has the ability to make 2 or 4 cups of espresso. Fast, easy to clean, good coffee. Can not beat the quality you get for the price. I use this maker twice daily in an office. Excellent product, great for beginners as well as long time espresso makers.

I work in the restaurant industry and have used many professional espresso machines that cost thousands of dollars and this little machine comes close to them. It doesn\’t make much crema if you make more than 1 espresso at a time, but it will make professional foam with the steamer. The handle broke off my basket after a while, it\’s pretty thin hollow plastic, but it still works. The only real drawback is it takes a little practice to know how much water to put in it to brew the coffee and foam the milk. Too much and you have to keep running the machine until the water runs out, you can\’t keep water in it and you can\’t open the machine to dump it out because of the pressure. Make sure to clean the steamer stem after each use or it will be very hard to get the dried milk off.

I didn\’t want to spend a lot until I knew I would use the machine and not stop at Starbucks. I am very pleased with my results so far. Even though it isn\’t as good as Starbucks, it still gets the job done and produces a nice drink. It\’s easy to clean the machine. I plan on using this while I experiment with making my beverages and maybe upgrade in the future but for now I am very satisfied with this purchase. It would be great if this was made in the USA, but it\’s hard to find any still made here.

If money is an issue, this is a good machine. I bought it to save money. The outside looks nice. It’s easy to use for beginners. The down sides of the decanter don’t fit well and have a tendency to leak. The frother doesn’t work very well. I would suggest buying a seperate frother if you decide to purchase this. I use starbucks expresso coffee until I can afford a different one, and I’m happy with that. That’s right.

The Mr Coffee unit is in the category of small-scale home espresso machines. This is the least expensive machine I have ever seen and I feel confident that it will last longer than the machines I have owned in the past. The process of making a double-shot latte is fast and easy with this product.

I am new to making my own coffee, but I love this espresso maker. It’s easy to use, it has a fast brew time, and it’s easy to clean. I can’t get the frother to work well because I’m new at it.

My husbabd got this machine for his birthday. The machine works well. Before you brew the coffee, you need to steam the milk. Since Thanksgiving, we have had no problems with the machine. We bought it for someone this christmas.

The other reviewer had a bad experience. I have had my machine for 2 years and have never had a problem. I use the milk steamer and foamer frequently for cappuccino. If you compare it to any other expresso machine, you will get far more than you would expect for such a low price.

It makes great hot expresso. I found that the froth arm could be moved a bit away from the machine, which is the only problem I have with it. The froth was hard to get right. The arm needs to be longer. The price is great, and other than the froth arm, I think it’s a fine machine to have. It beats buying from Starbucks.

I will recommend the coffee machine to my family.

I think this is my fourth or fifth home cappucino maker. I have had Betty Crocker at least two times. Coffee cappucino makers and my latest attempt to find a longer lasting one, a Krups, which costs $60. My experience is that they all lasted about two to three years, except for one that my husband took out to his shop and worked on for another year or so. Don’t try that at home. Only electricians. Don’t even then! The best cappucino maker for the price is this one. The frothing spout should be made a little longer. I use a mug that is large for me. I’m going to stick with Mr. and not try any other brands. Coffee cappucino maker until I have more money. About $100+ is the next step up. I wonder if they would last longer? Maybe some day I’ll find out. I’m happy until then. Thank you, MySaveMall!

I like this machine. I’ve had it for over a month and I love it. This seemed like a good value when I was shopping. It really is. I haven’t gotten a good froth with my 1% milk yet. The unit was great. Would highly recommend it.

I searched for the right espresso maker. I love my coffee shop coffee but won’t sacrifice my budget for it. The machine is of excellent quality. The seals are good. It does 2 shots as well as produce 4. It’s a small machine that can sit on my counter and make plenty of espresso and steam plenty of milk to make 4 double shot lattes in 10 minutes. When making 4 shots of espresso at a time you may have to refill the water to get enough steam for your milk but once it’s heated up it takes no time at all to bring more steam. The steam stem is short, which is the only draw back to this machine. If you like foam for cappuccino and want to steam enough milk for 1 cup of coffee, you’ll need a short but wide steaming vessel.

After 18 months of daily use, my Melita stopped working and it was time to replace it. I was skeptical of the low price on this model. I am happy to report that the little appliance is worth the money. I use it every day and it works very well. I recommend it to all espresso lovers, like me, who can’t help but put wear and tear on their espresso machines. This person can take it.
