I like the quality of the tea the unit makes. I had a problem with the tea carafe. The first time I used the unit, the floor began to oxidize. Mr Coffee sent a new pot to me.

It is cute, small and has a lot of features. I like the custom steeping time option. The negatives are very short. I would always use the custom steep time feature. Since tea stains things and drops of tea will most likely fall on the base plate, I think black or stainless steel would be better for the appliance color. I am very impressed with how quickly the water in this tea maker warms up. It is the same speed as using the microwave. I am using two black-leaf teabags from Republic of Tea to make 2 cups of tea. The water level for 2 cups does not fully immerse the teabags in the tea infuser because the circular teabags do not lie flat. I used the black/herbal setting and the custom steep time feature. The timer said that the 5 minutes was up, but when I looked at my own timer, there was still 1 minute left. I double checked to make sure I pressed the correct number of times. There is a time difference between a tea maker and a kitchen timer. I let the tea maker go for another minute to make up for the shortage. I am not sure how the water gets into the tea bags. I think it’s too much. My teabags had tea leaves that came out of the bag when I removed them from the infuser. The tea pours well out of the kettle. The handle of the kettle is very comfortable to grasp and hold, and the tea is very hot. There is a dramatic difference between steeping tea using the old-fashioned method and using an electric tea maker. The electric tea maker has barely any flavor to it. It is lighter in color than using the old-fashioned method due to the fact that the bags are not fully immersed in the water during most of the steeping time. I don’t drink more than one cup at a time, even if you make 3 cups or more. This is not a good way to make a 2 cup minimum. I drink tea in the morning and afternoon. Even though you can use the keep warm feature, I wouldn’t let it sit that long until it was time for my tea. Keeping it warm for 5 hours or more would compromise both flavor and depth of flavor. After drinking my first cup of tea, I poured my second cup from the tea maker. The keep warm feature works well and it is just as hot as my first cup. I am making 2 cups of tea in the teamaker and using loose leaf tea. The tea is in the water. I chose the custom steeping time again. I didn’t want to press the buttons as quickly as I did before. I am checking the time against my timer to see if it will be 5 minutes this time. I cleaned the tea infuser cylinder while waiting for my tea to cool so I could drink it. I thought it would be difficult to clean the tea leaves from the infuser. Very impressed. The cylinder is so narrow and deep that you can’t wash it. The tea tastes better than the teabags did. I believe it is due to the fact that the tea leaves were submerged in water at all times and the teabags were partially out of the water for most of the time. I really enjoyed my cup of tea, it was the depth of flavor that I am used to when steeping the traditional method. There was no tea in my first cup. The tea in the kettle has some small pieces in the bottom. I am very impressed with the tea maker. The holes in the tea are very small. I used 3 black leaf teabags from the Republic of Tea and 3 cups of water. There is not enough room for the tea leaves to expand in the tea infuser because the teabags are so small. The tea’s flavor was not as strong as it could have been. I used the steep time setting again and checked it against my timer. The tea maker did not signal the end of the steeping time when it was used for the third time. I set my own timer. The tea is always very hot. It is a nice appliance to use for loose tea leaves. The minimum water level is 2 cups. The quality of the tea it produces is very good. I think you will be disappointed if you are a teabag only user. The tea infuser shape does not allow for proper expansion of the teabags, so you are not getting your full flavor experience. I am going to use and review this product.

The Mr. Coffee Tea Kettle is a must have in the kitchen. The Tea Kettle is a must have in the kitchen. I didn’t know what to expect. I thought to myself, “Not once have I seen such a unique product used for brew tea.” I took it out of the box and went to the outlet to brew it. The product was a complete flop. I only wanted to brew one cup, but the tea in the kettle touched the water. I found out this will have to be for two cups or more. I have to say that it is one of the few drawbacks to the product. This thing is boiling fast, and there are multiple temp settings. The kettle, enfuser combo is a great addition to the product. You can put dried lemon grass in the enfuser, which is where the tea goes, and then put sliced lemons, honey, and water into the kettle, press boil, and you will have some of the best Lemon Zest Tea of you life. I don’t know where this thing has been all my life. I was given this product for free to test and review, so I would like to tell you that. All opinions are mine.
