The coffee is hot and stays hot in the pot, it perks average speed which is no problem. We are satisfied with the coffee and it\’s temperature and doesn\’t fail to perk from time to time like the old one did.

I replaced my 35 year old percolator after it gave up the ghost. It’s a little pricey at $56, but it’s a 12 cup percolator, which is helpful in my household with lots of coffee drinkers. A perfect cup is about a minute per cup, meaning 12 cups are ready in about 12 minutes. It is difficult to remove the spill-proof lid, but in our litigious world they were wise to put it on. It is easy to clean. The Mr Coffee I use at work has a richer flavor since the water is passed through multiple times without making it stronger. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend this.

After my coffee maker overflowed for the third or fourth time, I purchased a coffee percolator. If you knock the percolator over, it won’t overflow and make a mess. The coffee tastes better. The counter of the Presto looks better, and it does not take up much of the room of the machine.

I researched percolators before buying this coffee pot. I bought it because it got the best reviews. I’m not disappointed. The coffee tastes better than those fancy coffee makers. I have never had one of those to make a really good cup of coffee. The coffee was not hot enough. The first coffee I made was great. It was very hot. I will never buy a coffee maker again. The Presto takes up less space on the kitchen counter, and I can lift it when needed. I love it!

I am very happy with my purchase of this coffee pot. It will deliver a great cup of coffee every time. There is no comparison against this percolator and I will never buy another one. It is easy to clean up. If I’m in a pinch, the basket filters for the old drip pot will work by punching a hole in it for the percolator stem, and I use the 3 inch disc coffee filters. I would recommend this percolator coffee pot to family, friends and anyone that will listen, I’m very pleased with it, and I would purchase it again. Every cup from a percolator is piping hot.
