Have not used it as a deep fryer, but for making other things, there is either boil like crazy on all the temps, or nothing. Even \”Keep Warm\” is too hot. It is better than nothing but not that much, I would never leave it unattended. Got to save propane when camping!

I didn’t know the size of this appliance. I loved that this could fry my chicken and pork chops as much as I wanted. Air fryers are great but there is a limit on portions. My order arrived quickly. I could not be happier.

It was used for the first time today. It did not work well as a fryer. It did a great job for me. My preheat temp was close to 400. The cold wings made a 100 degree drop. It recovered to 320. It was time to get a dozen. The big container size was enough to handle the initial boil surge.

I returned it. It did not work because it said it was a big kettle with a lot of wasted space. To be able to fry, I took over 8 cups of oil. Not for us. There were no complaints about how it worked. Next size down, we bought the same brand.

I’m giving this appliance a rating of 3 stars. The lid doesn’t fir the kettle with the basket in it. The handle needs to fit out of the open area of the lid. I have to remove the basket for storage because I can’t leave the basket in it and cover it all, so I use mine only for frying, so I leave the oil in it. I don’t recommend this product until they replace the lid.

This is necessary if you catch and fry fish. Predicting the temperature of your grease is no longer possible.
