This product is great. The trays make it smaller. My children love beef jerky and dried marshmallows that I made in a few days after having it. I don’t heat up my kitchen because it is relatively quiet.

We got it after making it. My old one lasted 28 years. Plug in and let go without having to do settings or temps. The kids were enjoying my food again after 5 hours.

It does the job, but there is no on/off button. The temperature is one. It’s the basic of models. I don’t like the missing on/off button. I would have chosen a different product if I’d done more research. I’m not sure if returns will be accepted now. If they are, I would return it and pick a different one.

I wanted to make deer jerky. I wasn’t sure about the cheaper price at first. I was really impressed by my first batches of jerky. It takes 4 hours for my jerky to be done. The pieces are done evenly. The batches have all been perfect for me. This is a good dehydrator for someone just starting out with dehydrating.

It’s archaic that you have to turn it off. sparks are caused by that How have the safety regulations been passed? Today’s products will tell you to turn off. The first time I plugged it in, it came on immediately, wasn’t ready for that, and it was blowing air directly onto the table. There isn’t any safety features, on-off button, or timers. It will never stop dehydrating. It was very annoying. When stacked for dehydrating food, the trays don’t sit well and it feels as if they will fall over. The dehydrator is by far the worst. I made a mistake with this purchase.
