I wanted to get a coffee maker for my classroom. I wanted something I could hide in a cabinet when I wasn’t using it. This works well. You can see the difference when I compare it to my home coffee maker. Even though the filter is small, it fits in the basket. There is a place for the cord to go into the body of the machine if you turn the handle inward. The speed of the coffee maker is comparable to the one I use at home, and the basket comes out for easy cleaning. I’m glad I got this.

Saving space on my counter is one of the reasons I use the Proctor Silex coffee maker. While waiting for your next cup of coffee, the handle of the carafe turns and stores inside the base. Lift the front lid and pour water in. The basket is easy to fill. The carafe and brew basket are dishwasher safe. The coffee maker’s switch is lighted so you can see if it’s on or off. If you remove the carafe, you can grab your first cup without waiting for the whole pot to brew. There is a 12 cup capacity.
