For the price, this is a great popcorn popper. After it’s finished, it leaves about 6 kernels in the unit. The cover/butter tray does an ok job of melting butter, but it doesn’t give the butter a chance to fully melt as the unit is so fast at popping that it doesn’t give the butter a chance to fully melt. After the unit is done and still hot, I just leave it in place for a few minutes and stir it to get it melted enough to put on popcorn.

We got this a few weeks ago, and have used it many times. There are only 3 or 4 kernels left in the bottom and it does a great job popping them. The smell of plastic when the machine is warming up is the only draw back.
