I used this first for hard boiled eggs. 6 new eggs are in the pressure cook. I was blown away. Perfect hard boiled eggs. The shell slid off after I cracked it. I won\’t cook eggs again.

I was scared of an old pressure cooker. I was impressed when I tried the Pioneer Woman 6 Qt Pressure Cooker. It is very light compared to the older silver ones. There were multiple choices to cook on the digital screen. The color is nice. It goes well with a lot of things. The kid took it off with the help of the handle. There is a picture of a lock and an arrow to let you know if you have it right. I am a novice when it comes to cooking something in it. Goulash was made by me. I put the meat in the pot. I added the pasta and pushed the rice button. It took 45 minutes. I didn’t have to sit at my stove waiting for my pots and pans to cook and boil because I was able to do other things around the house. The old one was a big step up.

I don’t write reviews, but I wanted to let other people know that the pressure cooker is terrible. It’s terrible when you look up her recipes online. She will tell you how to use it. The pressure cooker can be used to saute. When you press the saute button on this pressure cooker, it will set to 50 minutes and you can’t change the amount of time. I don’t understand why you would make an item that could be useful. You set it up so that it is difficult to use. This item will be returned by me.

I’ve never used a pressure cooker before and this Pioneer Woman one was a new one for me to try. I cooked some wild rabbits with some BBQ sauce, smoke flavoring,Worcester sauce, mixed veggies and apple cider vinaigrette. The pressure cooker recommended I use the poultry setting. The instructions in the manual were easy to follow. My new favorite appliance is this one. I will be using it weekly. I usually don’t cook. I’m able to find a simple way to help out now that my husband does most of it.
